The Brick and Mortar Approach
|
We are talking about the harrowing property doldrums here in Hong Kong, which seems every then and now it is cliffhanging from an even more precarious position, another spectacular nosedive could be possible at any minute, may be one or few more of these courageous stunts, before we see it finally crushing to the pit.
Nothing has been changed much since the interview I gave at the beginning of the millennium. What a dejecting displeasure !
Want to know more about my background in the real estate industry, here are some of research materials I contributed to various publications:
They are all made of stiff stuff, if you are suffocated by these, then take a breath in the other more interesting areas.

Can't remember why this page was called. It is all about my wining and dining experience, dilly-dally and rather meretricious lifestyle:
Waltzing in Pousada de Sao Tiago - Face to face we whirled on, my limbs interwoven with hers, my strong right arm around her yielding form, I pressed her to me until every curve in the contour of her body thrilled with the amorous contact....
Taipei Ballad - Seedy brothels in Huahsi Street were all packed in a small alley, middle-aged women lined up at the shop front and cajoled passer-by to the curtain behind, the red neon lights on top, uncomfortably ablazing, had the inside looked like engulfing in flame - such scene was somewhat eerie and intimidating to our first visitor of the city.
Shanghai Serenade - The lights turned dimmer and dimmer, illumination only to be replaced by the glowing candles on each dining table. The glitzy crystal ball on the ceiling started to twirl, in a tandem to the swings of the old ceiling fan, and beckoned the starry spots to float in this dark oak woods of Shanghai eatery.
Love beyond Love - At 3 a.m. in the bar in Hart Avenue, I was still drinking, the musical jukebox was finally running out of patronage and there was a dead silence inside. Friends were already gone and bagged home with full loads of my groans. The table was full of empty bottles and glasses. The waiter had learned wise not to come close and left me alone in the dark corner lest I should order for more drinks...
Incredible of the Miserable Two - The first sun ray was about to beam across the horizon. A pair of young lovers, braced with the early-morning chill, quietly sat on the Shek O Beach. The hope for the meteor shower was fading in this last minute of the night, they turned their attention on the small flame of the candle flaring in the wind......

Keep writing to friends, to groan and moan, wishy-washy, and marshal supports from them.
Enjoy some homemade humours here.
Snitch from Daily Mirror, a racy and saucy column - very eloquent and easy-to-understand.
Other Attractions
The top prize in Lycos Hong Kong's homepage contest was just slipped out of hand. However, a Sony Playstation 2 is an enough consolation for me to hands-off from my homepage lately.
An array of other websites of my creation. They are basically Four Weddings and One Funeral:
The Unsinkable Love - The epitome of true love and friendship. My first gadget in the cyber world, clandestinely carved out only to release to the loving couple on the wedding day.
Golden Wedding - Another epic love account that ends with a sweety and romantic cerebration.
Amy and Freddie - Not as lyrical as the others, yet a charming and successful couple in a memorable event.
Affection Suite - Having struck out several wedding sites for my friends, I can't miss my own, can't I ? Not yet a veritable one, comprises a string of alluring chords for this beautiful angel and you never know how it will transpire from there.
A Funeral - Sadly there is one. Shivering down the spine whenever unearth this graveyard. A deadly mass was disguised in a grandiose sheathing. Testament to the flop of new economy.
